Are There Any Job Openings?

How can I receive PBS on my home satellite dish?
C-Band dish owners can access a clear analog feed of the PBS Satellite Service on Telstar 4, Channel 18 (T4, C-18). Viewers unable to receive their local PBS station can receive the PBS National Satellite Service through DBS providers DirecTV, Primestar and the Dish Network (EchoStar).

A narrator is describing everything that happens on the programs. How do I make it stop?
Many TVs are able to receive a Second Audio Program (SAP) channel that enables visually impaired persons to use the WGBH Descriptive Video Service (DVS), which provides enriched verbal descriptions of what is heard and seen on a TV’s primary audio and video channels. You can disable the DVS easily. Most TVs and VCRs require you to select the SAP channel in order to receive and record DVS. The selector is usually labeled SAP, MTS, Audio 2, or Audio B on your TV panel, remote-control device, or on-screen menu. Un-selecting the SAP channel should eliminate the Descriptive Video Service and solve your problem. If you’re not able to un-select the SAP channel, review your TV manual or contact a TV vendor who can guide you through the process.

The music is actually from the Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron Soundtrack.

What is the music used on the puppet promo?
It is an original music score for the PBS Puppet Promo by Amber Music. Unfortunately no other version is available, other than that shown on the on air promo.
