Applause is an Emmy award-winning locally produced TV show that celebrates artists and cultural groups around Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Each week this on-air arts magazine broadcasts a fresh half-hour of features, performances, on-location reports, and interviews from the studios of WVIZ/PBS ideastream. Coming up on Applause we’ll get a progress report on the expansion underway at the Cleveland Museum of Art from Director, Timothy Rub. And we’ll meet Cleveland Institute of Art grad, Dana Schutz whose high impact, politically charge paintings are causing quite a debate. Plus we’ll find out what’s in store at this year’s American Music Masters series at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
