Newsmaker: Hon. Frank Jackson, Mayor of Cleveland. He's just about to complete the first full year of his term in office. He campaigned with a promise to restore hope in the future of Cleveland. He'll talk with Mr. Feagler about what progress he's made. During Jackson's tenure, police helicopters took to the air again, and the city led Cuyahoga County in new housing starts, and the Mayor says he's been working quietly to set the stage for gains to come. But the city also regained its ranking as the poorest big city in America, the homicide rate is the highest since 1996 and the city's population fallen to its lowest level in decades.
Roundtable: Regina Brett, columnist, The Plain Dealer; Bill Livingston, sportswriter, The Plain Dealer; Harry Boomer, reporter, 19 Action News.
Panel's Picks for 2006: Mr. Feagler and his panel of journalist friends will look back at the top stories that made news and made a difference during the previous 12 months.
