Casino Debate Heats Up: Combatants on both sides of the casino gambling issue spent some time posturing in Columbus this week. Senator George Voinovich is leading the anti-gambling charge. Representative Bill Seitz of Cincinnati says it’s time for the state to stand aside and let cities roll the dice. We’ll see if voters get the chance to say, “hit me.”

Don’t Drop Anchor Here: The Caribbean island of Nevis refuses to allow a Windjammer gay cruise make landfall. In fact, officials on Nevis say they don’t want people on the cruise even to swim in their waters.
