On Sunday, September 11, WVIZ/PBS re-airs Mr. Feagler’s conversation with Av Westin, veteran network television news executive and executive director of the National Television Academy Foundation. Westin had a long association with both CBS and ABC. As a young reporter at CBS, he was mentored by such correspondents as Charles Collingwood and Eric Severeid. At ABC, he was a key figure in the shaping of World News Tonight and 20/20. He has interesting views on where the medium is heading.
