Emmy Award-winning Feagler & Friends is a lively, weekly half-hour television discussion of local and national issues impacting lives in Northeast Ohio. Hosted by award-winning journalist and former Plain Dealer columnist, Dick Feagler, Feagler & Friends explores the various issues behind today's news. With a changing ensemble of "friends" ranging from journalists to community and political leaders, Feagler & Friends takes on issues from many different perspectives. Always entertaining and never boring, Feagler & Friends is the program for people "in the know" in Northeast Ohio.

2005, a Year in Review: What is your selection for the top news story of 2005?
Cleveland voters turn Jane Campbell out of office after just one term as Mayor and elect Frank Jackson. Schools CEO Barbara Byrd-Bennett announces she’s leaving as soon as her replacement can be found. A money scandal erupts at the Statehouse and threatens to take down the Taft administration. Governor Taft is accused of failing to report gifts and is named one of the worst governors in the nation. Ground is broken for Steelyard Commons in Cleveland. Local leaders determined to save the DFAS Center fight the Pentagon and win. The death of Pope John Paul II and the election of Benedict XVI. Heavy turnout in historic Iraqi elections. Local Marines are hit hard in one of the year’s bloodiest insurgent attacks in Iraq. Tough-talking democrat Paul Hackett steps into the statewide political spotlight.
Dick Feagler and the panel will take a look back at the events that had us all talking in 2005 and speculate on where they might lead us in 2006.
