A week after making big budget cuts, Governor Ted Strickland uses his State of the State speech to reveal a jobs plan, announce changes in education, and build up bipartisanship to get it all done. Lawmakers give him mixed reviews, including House Speaker Jon Husted, Ohio Republican Party deputy director Rep. Kevin DeWine, Ohio Democratic Party chair Rep. Chris Redfern, Republican Senator Tim Grendell, Republican Rep. Jay Hottinger, Republican Senator Bill Seitz of Cincinnati, and Senate Minority Leader Ray Miller of Columbus.
