Big businesses and consumer group say shocking energy bills could zap Ohioans in the next year. And the governor’s energy plan has had a powerful effect on lawmakers in both parties. Some Democratic lawmakers in the House have put forward their own proposal, and Republicans have been signaling that they’re supportive of the governor’s plan. But there are some Republicans who don’t feel Strickland’s plan goes far enough in some areas. A few of them have come up with an alternative alternative-energy proposal. Republican representative Jim McGregor of Gahanna is here to talk about it.
