The State of Ohio is a weekly news program spotlighting the latest happenings at the Statehouse, in the Governor’s office, at the Ohio Supreme Court and throughout the Buckeye State. Award-winning host Karen Kasler presents viewers with unique analysis and thoughtful perspective on important issues of statewide interest through interviews with political leaders, newsmakers, experts and Ohio citizens. Flags flew at half staff this week in honor of a man who had made Ohio politics his career and his passion – ten-term Congressman Paul Gillmor of Tiffin. Ohio’s foreclosure rate is twice the national average. Cuyahoga County treasurer Jim Rokakis, a member of the governor’s foreclosure task force, and Bill Cosgrove, the president of the Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association, which is also represented on that panel, talk about the task force in advance of the release of its report to the governor.
