Nominate A Child Care Provider

A Place of Our Own is a daily television series, web site and outreach program devoted to the unique needs of child care providers. Family, friends and neighbors – everyone who takes care of young children - are child care providers. WVIZ/PBS ideastream Early Childhood Outreach Department is looking for six individuals who are truly committed to quality child care. We’re looking for people who have opened their homes and their hearts to provide the very best care to our country’s youngest citizens. These everyday heroes inspire us to create and provide all children with enriching opportunities to learn and grow. The six providers chosen will be featured on WVIZ/PBS and one will go on to be featured nationally on A Place of Our Own.

If you know someone you would like to nominate please let us know by filling out our online nomination form!
