Welcome to the WVIZ/PBS Cooks! Club! We’re so delighted that you’ve joined those who share your love of great food.

From its inception, the idea for the WVIZ/PBS Cooks! series was simple… and simply delicious! With Northeast and North Central Ohio being so rich in ethnic diversity, our plan was to gather together traditional and family-favorite recipes from some of the region’s best home cooks and then, through the power of television, share those recipes with you, our family and friends.

The goal of the WVIZ/PBS Cooks! Club is to expand the idea beyond the “little black box” and reach out to as many food lovers as possible. We hope you’ll enjoy the recipes and demonstrations that you find here, and we hope, too, that you’ll share your comments, ideas and recipes with us and with everyone in the community.
