1: Discover the environmental and social history of the Cuyahoga
River in order to develop a community action plan. |

live in and around the Cuyahoga River. |

the social and economic importance that the Cuyahoga River

the environmental impact that social and economic development
has had on the Cuyahoga River over time. |

| -Construct
a problem statement based on information attained as a result
of preceding lessons. |

2: Conduct scientific environmental investigation in order
to accumulate data. |

the science of water quality testing and analysis. |

| -Engage
in water sampling and water testing within selected regions
of the Cuyahoga River. |

3: Post, analyze, and communicate research findings in order
to raise community awareness and/or design a community plan

a database in order to post and analyze data gathered as a
result of scientific field work. |
