provides several ideas for community action plans that can be implemented inside and outside of school by your students. The site also contains links to several standard-aligned lesson plans.

It includes maps. This site gives extensive information about the National Park. It does not link to other informative sites.
 
  "From Hurting to Healing" The Cleveland Plain Dealer www.cleveland.com graphic/article (Cleveland Plain Dealer, April 22, 2006) contains a timeline ("A Comeback Chronology") which traces the laws that were passed and actions that were taken to clean up the river as well as a neat graphic that describes several reasons for its recovery as well as problems that still remain.
