Up Close with the Computer Microscope (Y2K)(Register)

Presenter(s): TBA Audience: All Teachers and Administrators You and two kids for an additional charge of $20.00Learn how to use this versatile and highly interactive QX5+ microscope. It plugs into your computer's USB port and puts some of the latest digital imagery technology at the fingertips of even very young children. Kids will be amazed as they zoom up to 200 times on a bug, or as they detach the microscope from its base to view the skin on their arm from the perspective of a hungry mosquito. The microscope comes with software that captures the images so that they can be made into a slide show, resized, or otherwise manipulated. It offers an excellent way to explore the world that can't be seen with the naked eye. Participants will be shown how to create their own video clips and time- lapsed photos with this microscope. You will also receive a Digital Blue QX5+ microscope for your school. |
