Date: Thu, February 26, 2009

Time: 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Audience: High School and Middle School

Guest #1: Entrepreneur A. Ray Dalton

About this program:
Ray Dalton is truly a self-made man. He was raised in the Los Angeles inner-city and spent his childhood years bouncing from one home to another.
Today, as PartsSource’s President & CEO, Ray Dalton, defines the word entrepreneur. Having built and sold six prior companies, Ray has the distinct honor of having sold two of these businesses to General Electric. Ray also left the position of President and CEO of a wholly owned GE subsidiary and his seven-figure salary to “go it alone”. PartsSource, of Twinsburg, Ohio, was recently named Number One with the Weatherhead 100, Number 138 on Inc Magazine’s “500 Fastest Growing Companies” for 2006 and number 19 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Companies.”

His first book “Proceed with Confidence, Lessons Learned from a Serial Entrepreneur” received widespread acclaim as a ‘how-to’ and ‘must read’ for serious entrepreneurs. An acclaimed speaker, Ray has presented to many prestigious organizations, including the Harvard Business School, on a wide variety of topics including Entrepreneurial Leadership. Ray is a frequent keynote presenter on growing businesses and a guest speaker for the Case Entrepreneur series. Even with his challenging schedule, he prioritizes his faith and family time enough to include international mission work.

The program will be hosted by Gary Schoeniger of the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative Foundation. Each participating school will receive a copy of Mr. Dalton's autobiography "Proceed With Confidence."
