A south Florida man had a ball creating a project that has gone into the record books. "Ripley's Believe It or Not" came to Joel Waul's Lauderhill, Florida home last Thursday to pick up what he calls his baby. It is now officially the world's largest rubber band ball. For five years, the twenty-eight-year-old worked on the ball in his driveway after it got too big for his house. It now weighs almost 10,000 pounds and is over 6 feet high. He's glad to have it out of his yard because he said the Florida sun was drying out the rubber bands. Ripley's Believe It or Not will place the ball in one of their museums.
