It just could be the country's most famous Christmas tree - the centerpiece at New York City's Rockefeller Center. Last week, crews cut down a 76-foot Norway spruce from the property of fifth grade teacher Maria Corti in Easton, Connecticut. Last Thursday, the 70-year-old tree was raised by a crane and put into place in New York. During the next few weeks, it will be decorated with thirty thousand lights, on five miles of wire. The official lighting will take place December 2nd.
