More good news for Ohio this week, as President Obama released his new budget. The numbers include $300 million for restoring the Great Lakes - including our own Lake Erie. This is less than the nearly $500 million that was included in last year's budget, but still a big number. The EPA is leading the effort to clean up toxic substances in the lakes, prevent run-off pollution from entering the lakes, preserve the habitat and wildlife along lake shores, and remove or keep out invasive species.
