Atlanta’s Panda Mei Lan Makes Debut at Her New Home in China

Mei Lan greeted the Chinese public almost forty days after her arrival in China's Sichuan Province. The three-year-old panda, who you may remember was born at Zoo Atlanta, was a fussy eater to begin with at Chengdu Research Base. But now she has adapted to the diet and climate in her new home. She has all the bamboo she can eat and has gained several pounds.
