Course Description:
This session will explore the interactivity and motivational aspects of integrating video into the classroom. The integration of a digital camera into the classroom is another tool to engage the students into their learning and will create higher level of thinking. Teachers will learn how to fully operate a digital camcorder and capture a clear and steady image. You will also learn the basic principles of taping classroom activities and school events, and become introduced to in-camera editing. See demonstrations on effective use of video in the classroom and take a quality digital camcorder back to your school. Standards across the curriculum will be addressed.
