PBS TeacherLine is a series of facilitated online courses produced by leading educators and educational institutions. They are video-rich and are project-based. Each week, learners complete an assignment, read articles and view video, and participate in online discussions. We offer graduate credit through Ashland University, Notre Dame College, and The University of Akron.

We offer 2 and 3 graduate credit hour courses.
Reasonable cost
$200 for 30-contact hour courses, and $300 for 45-contact hour courses. Please visit our graduate credit page for more information.

Registration Process
There are two parts to the registration process:

1.) Click on the title of the course you would like to enroll in on the Right-hand side of the page in the gray box.  If your course is not appearing there, please scroll down and click on the next page of courses.  (At the bottom of the gray box, it will say “Page 1 of 2.”) Once you click on the title of the course, a gray registration button will appear.  Click on this button to register online. 

2.) If you would like graduate credit you ALSO need to fill out a form from the university of your choice and send it in with separate payment to WVIZ/PBS ideastream.  Please see the graduate credit section below for details.

Graduate Credit
We now have all graduate credit forms online. Please follow all directions carefully. All graduate credit forms must be received by WVIZ/PBS ideastream by the fifth day after the course start date. We cannot grant late graduate credit.

Online Book Discussion Groups
WVIZ/PBS ideastream is offering book discussion groups for educators that are entirely online. These mini-courses are available for one graduate credit through Ashland University or The University of Akron.
