What’s Up With That?
What’s Up With That? is a series of minute-long video spots for kids that that introduce youth (K-5th grade) to the intriguing world of science. These brief, between-program science moments are intended to pique a child’s natural curiosity in the unknown, and to spark interest and enthusiasm for exploring and solving the mysteries inherent in the universe that surrounds them. They give kids a glimpse of things that can’t ordinarily be seen, or are taken for granted. They reveal that there are forces at work behind the scenes in everything we experience in our lives, and explain that these forces can be understood and harnessed to help us solve problems, cure diseases, create new things, go places and lots more. "Whats Up With That?" science moments were created in collaboration with the Great Lakes Science Center.
