Back in Ripley and time for a test of the technical part of our journey. This is the part that is interesting yet I am not very experienced or competent with computer and internet tools or language. I suspect most of you fourth graders understand most of what I am just beginning to learn. Today, I mostly watched (sometimes held a cable or simply inserted a plug into the outlet) while Terry and Jim worked diligently trying to get the satellite dish exactly placed and all the rest of monitors, keyboards, cameras etc coordinated.. This is complex, tiring and sometimes frustrating work. When all was said and done, everything was coordinated and worked well for tomorrow’s first teleconference. Yea! All we have to do is come to Rankin House, high on the hill for our very first FREEDOM QUEST teleconference.
