IThe pre-test of the teleconference set-up was four long hours of frustrating disappointment. Our planned location at The National Afro-American Museum on Wilberforce University campus had too many trees and interferences to allow us to broadcast with the portable satellite dish. They worked so long and tried all kinds of different spots all around the building but nothing worked. There would be a signal indicating connection and it would suddenly quit, just disappear. The rest of the evening was a mad scramble to brainstorm, change plans and seek another location for tomorrow’s teleconference.

This museum is beautiful. The current exhibit From Slavery to Freedom was perfectly appropriate for Freedom Quest Ohio visit. Take a look and perhaps you are even close enough to be one of the many schools that make a field trip visit.
