Terry D. Peterson , Founder of Verite’ Productions, is an award- winning producer and director of both long and short form videos for broadcast, corporate, and educational projects. Most recently he completed work on a TV documentary, which aired nationally on the Hallmark Channel and NBC affiliate stations. His clients include BET on Jazz – a subsidiary of BET cable network, Faith and Values Media, The United Church of Christ, Cuyahoga Community College, Tri-C JazzFest and WVIZ/PBS. In spring of 2004 he embarked on the Amistad Freedom Schooner from which he hosted and produced educational video conferences for students and teachers across Northeast Ohio and portions of the east coast.
Peterson’s early broadcast experience was gathered over a period of three years at WXYZ-TV in Detroit. There, as an innovative and often bold promo producer, he earned two Emmy nominations and an Emmy in 1987.
His next career move took him to Hollywood, California, where he honed his television production skills to a cutting edge as the Senior Writer-Producer of Encore Communications, Inc. There, his pattern of success continued and he earned numerous awards, including a PROMAX Gold Medallion. He also worked as an Associate Producer on the Columbia
