This is the second tour to Cleveland by ZAP-member wineries. Their first visit in the summer of 2000 included a tasting event that was also presented by WVIZ/PBS and Heinen’s. That Cleveland visit was one of the most successful stops on ZAP’s tour of several cities around the country.

The evening will be a learning experience as Zinfandel is perhaps the most stylistically diverse wine produced in the United States. In all, it’s an “amaZIN” grape, and the evening is sure to enhance the taste buds of beginning wine drinkers or connoisseurs. In addition to sampling wines, another exciting highlight of the evening is the Silent Auction where you can bid on a variety of fabulous donated items. Click here to view Silent Auction items.

The Zinfandel Advocates and Producers organization is dedicated to advancing public knowledge and appreciation for American Zinfandel and its unique place in our culture and history. The membership includes over 300 growers and makers of Zinfandel, primarily located in California, and over 5,000 Zinfandel enthusiasts. Northeastern Ohioans who attend “It’s amaZIN” will discover for themselves the distinctive character and exceptional quality that place Zinfandel among the prominent wines of the world and the unique place that Zinfandel has in the American culture and in winemaker.
