Guest 1: Michael Heaton, columnist, ‘Minister of Culture,’ for The Plain Dealer. Heaton’s new collection of stories has been assembled under the title Truth and Justice for Fun and Profit. Heaton, son of retired Cleveland sports writer Chuck Heaton, has spent of a good part of his 20-year Plain Dealer career hanging out with some of the town’s most memorable characters: cops and criminals, soldiers and adventurers. He brought them to life in pieces written for The Plain Dealer and other publications. Many of those pieces are in the book Heaton will discuss with Mr. Feagler.

Guest II: John Gorman, former music and program director for 100.7 WMMS Radio, author of The Buzzard: Gorman, a media consultant, was instrumental in the rise of WMMS from an obscure Cleveland FM station to one of the premier rock and roll powerhouses in the country. During the glory days of The Buzzard in the 70s and 80s, WMMS was the undisputed king of the Cleveland radio ratings wars and it was the station on which rock stars most wanted to hear their music played. Mr. Feagler will talk with Gorman about the successful formula that made The Buzzard fly with listeners.
