Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Travels from Connecticut to New York City

It just could be the country's most famous Christmas tree - the centerpiece at New York City's Rockefeller Center. Last week, crews cut down a 76-foot Norway spruce from the property of fifth grade teacher Maria Corti in Easton, Connecticut. Last Thursday, the 70-year-old tree was raised by a crane and put into place in New York. During the next few weeks, it will be decorated with thirty thousand lights, on five miles of wire. The official lighting will take place December 2nd.

China's economy is rapidly expanding, and as its economy expands, so does modernization.
In fact, China recently announced a deal with Disney to build a new attraction near the city of Shanghai. But as modern buildings go up, often ancient buildings are taken down - and part of China's history goes with them. In a small section of Beijing, one man is on a mission to save the relics of the past. Li Songtang has rescued many of Beijing’s treasures and created a museum for them in his own home.
