Welcome to the NewsDepth web site. A valuable source of current events for thousands of Ohio third through eighth grade students, NewsDepth helps teachers meet state academic content standards in language arts and social studies, while linking Ohio students with the world. This website offers exciting features to help you use NewsDepth in your classroom: streaming video, downloads and podcasts provide on-demand access to replay or download news stories; lesson plans and support materials unique to each program are correlated to curriculum standards; a searchable database allows you to find stories based on key topics and words; the interactive Kids Page provides an exciting space for students to express opinions and demonstrate involvement in school and community activities.
