NewsDepth and the Environment
Here’s your chance to tell the world about your efforts to help the environment! Do you have a project at school, at Scouts, at church, or at home that is helping to make the world a cleaner, better place? A project that will save energy or protect our waters or wildlife? Tell us about it and your story may appear on our website – or even be told on NewsDepth!
If you are not currently working on a project but would like to contribute a story about how other people are helping the environment, or a story about something that you think would help, you can send us that, too. Entries may include a well-written story, digital pictures, original art work, a PowerPoint presentation, or a video. Entries will be due at WVIZ/PBS by January 16, 2009.
Any video or photographic submissions must be accompanied by participant releases for each person that appears in them. Releases for children under 18 must be signed by a parent or guardian. Please download the NewsDepth Participant Release (PDF) here.
Digital photos should be the highest possible quality and resolution and sent to us on CD Rom. Video format in order of preference: Mini DV, DVD, VHS. Mail your submissions to NewsDepth, WVIZ/PBS, 1375 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115. Written submissions may be emailed to . You can also send any questions to our email address. We look forward to hearing from you!
