WVIZ/PBS ideastream®: A Day in the Park
Celebrate our own Northeast Ohio National Park with A Day in the Park -- a compilation of viewer submitted photos from Ohio’s spectacular Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Filmmaker Ken Burns called our National Parks "America’s Best Idea," and to honor his words, and in anticipation of his upcoming series The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, WVIZ/PBS ideastream, the National Park Service and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association invited viewers to share their park experience through video or pictures. A Day in the Park presents many of these photos and video from amateurs and professionals alike for a four-season tour of the magnificent scenery and wildlife within a few miles of all Northeast Ohioans.
The Cuyahoga Valley National Park consists of 33,000 acres of recreation, conservation and natural beauty, located less than 30 miles from 4 million residents of Northeast Ohio, and just a half day drive for 27 million people.
The Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society offers events for professional and beginner photographers... and more! Check out their website for more information. Also, browse through the society's online photo gallery here.
