I was auditioning for mouse in The Nutcracker. I was so excited that I made it. We practice our dance: one-two-three-four, echappé, echappé. Then we do the attack scene. I jump on a soldier while the other mice scratch. It's fun doing it, but it's hard work. When ballet class is over, I am extremely tired. On some days they fit us for our mouse costumes. I am going to be in five or six performances.
