Northeastern Ohioans have flocked to Sokolowski’s University Inn, a haven of Polish-style comfort food, since it opened in 1923.  Through the years, Sokolowski’s has become an iconic Cleveland dining destination, receiving rave reviews from its legions of local fans and the national media. 

This year, we’re pleased to begin the World Series with a new and exciting offering, a “Season Opener” at Sokolowski’s University Inn. You’ll enjoy a specially prepared five-course feast that will pair some of this landmark restaurant’s best-known and best-loved foods with outstanding wines from some Ohio’s finest producers. 

It’s a celebration of locally-based food, wine and fun, and filled with world class flavor. Join the fun and discover how comfort foods’ layers of flavor can be brought to life even more when complemented by specially selected wines.

Tastemakers take note!  An exceptional evening of gustatory greatness awaits you as two of Northeast Ohio’s finest restaurants, Fire on Shaker Square, and Luxe in the West Side’s exciting Gordon Square Arts District, celebrate the Heinen’s/WVIZ World Series of Wine by presenting an evening of outstanding wine and fine cuisine.  You’ll partake in a multi-course, gourmet feast while visiting winemakers or their representatives help you discover how and why their wines pair perfectly with each course!

Winery Dinner Table Sponsorships are a perfect way to entertain clients, recognize employees or celebrate a special occasion while supporting WVIZ/PBS. Tables of eight are available at each restaurant. Your sponsorship also entitles you or your organization to a generous package of benefits.
