“A Festival of Taste” is the perfect description for the acclaimed Heinen’s/WVIZ World Series of Wine.  After all, how else would you describe a long weekend filled with every wine imaginable … an array of fantastic foods especially selected to enhance each swirl and sip … fun and informative wine-tasting seminars featuring world-class vintages and varietals … and the chance to mix and mingle with winemakers, winery owners and others well-versed in the “grandeur of the grape”?

In fact, The Heinen’s/WVIZ World Series of Wine is a “grand slam” of taste set to uncork on Friday, November 7 and continue through Saturday, November 8. If you’re already an expert, or if you’re looking for a way to expand your knowledge base, you won’t find a better opportunity to sip, sample and learn than at the World Series of Wine. 

The main events are the three Grand Tastings presented on Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8 at The Terrace Club at Progressive Field.  There you’ll have ample opportunity to taste and learn as nearly 400 wines from 150 wineries and a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres.

On Saturday afternoon, November 8, the offerings continue when a series of seminars is presented, each one encouraging you to taste and compare the complexities of fine wine.  Also, back by popular demand is our “On Location” food and wine seminar at The Viking Store in Legacy Village where the rich and wonderful tastes of Spanish wine and food are presented.
